Sisig is in li e with Toppings and less than Patio Filipino which seems to be about the highest priced Filipino restaurant in the immediate area for me so far
Nice food /nice service
This a charming restaurant starting with the beautiful art deco exterior (a historic building, I assume). It offers delicious Filipino food. I enjoyed the Tocino which included BBQ pork, fried rice, and a sunny-side-up egg. For dessert I had purple yams with coconut ice cream - what a combo! Try the traditional lumpia as an appetizer and if you like noodles - pancit. Parking is free and check out all of San Mateo Ave. There are a lot of charming shops tucked away just east of El Camino in San Bruno.
Good Filipino food. The leche flan is very tasty. People are nice. Salamat!
Good food!!!Good Service!!!Awesome experience!!!Highly recommended by me and all my friends!!!
Best Paksiw. Excellent fresh lumpia !!! Visit them
We like a lot going out. Last night we went to this delicious restaurant which friends recommended to us. We spent a beautiful experience there with superb meal and an efficient crew and a distinguished cook. We put this fine restaurant in our list and we will definitely return very soon. Highly recommended.
If you crave traditional Filipino food, then this restaurant will meet that requirement easily. Service is prompt with friendly staff.
Definitely not recommended. Very poor quality of service. What had happened to the Filipino courtesy? Two restaurant server laughing at hungry customers and they can not see a customer ready to order for so long? There are far better Filipino restaurants near by.
Finest place to eat something when in a hurry. Their service is efficient, rates are convenient, great vibes. Will come visit again
Great Silog. Served all day.
I've been dining here with my family for years. you can always tell how good a Filipino restaurant is by their tocilog. Sure it's just a simple dish, but it brings you back home when done right. The tocino is never too greasy with the egg just right, not to runny!
Meh. The food was a mixed bag. Ginger mussel soup was excellent. The adobo chicken and beef dishes were not very good.
Loooove the halo-halo and Bobo cha-cha. Only had dessert here so far. The staff are very friendly and good service. I would have given 5stars but they need to clean or update their bathroom!!!! Other than that I will be coming back to try their food. My friends recommend this place all the time. Forgot to take pics, oh well next timeðŸ˜
Love the food and service here! Big portions for a great family style meal. My favorites are the sinigang and daing na bangus.
So delicious. They have something to satisfy everyone in the family. I love the sisig. Kids love the spamsilog. Husband loves Nilaga. Oldest kids love Sinigang. And we all love the garlic rice. Service is professional. The place is clean and parking is easy. Price is just right.
It's been a while. Nice place. Friendly people
Decent food and surprisingly good service, especially when compared to other Filipino restaurants.
Use to live in San Bruno for almost 30 years, now and then we love to visit The Avenue (San Mateo Ave.) to have a great meal from all varieties restaurant and one we love to visit is Kuya's Best Sisig Beef. Last weekend wife ask me if can drive to San Bruno just to buy Beef Sisig, why not so we did. Folsom to San Bruno worth it for us. Very humble owner and staff.
Very friendly environment and food was awesome! Some folks need to understand that Filipino food is comfort food hehe. If you're on a diet i suggest you eat this as your cheat day
great food but small space
Fantastic service and the Food was Great!
I love this place! They offer high quality dishes, their menu is large, The cook in that spot is a professional, I enjoy a lot eating all their dishes. The food is consistently of high qualtity, the attitude towards the customers is nice. I frequently visit this restaurant and I not even once was disappointed. I highly recommend it.
Great food and Service $$
I had better.
I found this restaurant by chance, glad I did. Serves really great Filipino food, we had Sinagong and of course limpia followed by mango ice cream. The resturaunt is super clean, I even looked at the ceiling fan and it is spotless. Our waitress Ate Jam super service. The owner Ate Baby also came out to great us, wow super friendly and hospitable.
Great, home made tasting Filipino food. Might be tough to park and the price is a tad bit high, but the meal will always be worth it.
This place is consistently good. The food is delicious. The garlic fried rice actually tastes like garlic fried rice and not just grease. The Sisig is always fresh and delicious. The Pancit Bihon is my favorite. It brings back memories for my childhood. Lumpia is crispy and not greasy. This Spam is always cooked perfectly. Other places cut it too thick and don't cook it all the way through. The service is perfect. The price is right. If you like Filipino food, you can't go wrong. There are a lot of other Filipino restaurants now in the area. This is the one place we go back to every single time. The kids love it. It's hard to beat.
The food were awesome... I would like to go and eat there again.. over and over.
Visiting the bay for a ball tournament and decided to stick to our comfort food. Great dining experience overall.
Just a heads up that their Bicol Express is actually more like pinakbet cooked in coconut milk. The vegetables they used are squash, okra, ampalaya, eggplant and string beans. Not green chili peppers which is what an authentic Bicol Express should be ( ingredients should be green sili, balaw, coconut milk and hipon or meat) . It was a good ginataang pinakbet but definitely not Bicol Express.
Best Filipino food I've found in years! Friendly people, great service, amazing food and a chill small town vibe. This is a must try spot!!
Wonderful place! Generous customer service and exceptional food! Will come back for seconds!
One of the best Filipino Food Eats. Silogs are a must have.
#dirty restroom but nice food
Food and service is good
The place offers a large range of delicious food. I love dining here. Employees are always super nice, rates are reasonable and the spot is always clean.
I was expecting better
Excellent service and cuisine! Satisfied my craving.
I prefer Kuya’s over Isla because they give better service. Isla is often far too busy and crowded for my liking. Kuya’s have friendly staff and commendable portions for the price! I come to Kuya’s at least twice a week.
Very good food,service
Good tasting Filipino food! The only challenge is parking. They need to put a more visible signage that can be seen from the street. But ... Food is great!😊
Its my 2nd time to this restaurant few weeks ago but my husband and his friends used to come here. You will find very good Filipino foods in Kuya's Asian Cuisine! 😋 The Krispy Pata and Krispy Binagoongan are my favorite! Their halo halo is really good! Staffs are nice and approachable. The Manager/Owner is very nice too, he even assisted us in our order, very nice guy! 💯💯👌Parking is free. ðŸ‘
Great food and nice staff
Absolutely the best Filipino food in the Bay Area! I have eaten at Kuya's many times and every time the food was consistently great! I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Filipino food.
Great Filipino food!
When I want to get Asian/Filipino food this is the place. I normally take it too go. They also make an awesome Halo-Halo (cold dessert which consists of crushed iced, evaporated milk and various ingredients including, among others, sweetened beans, coconut,  sago, gulaman, pinipig rice, fruit slices, flan, and topped with a scoop of ice cream.
Authentic Filipino cuisine! Will be back.
Delicious food, friendly owner that gets to know his customers, and a perfect not cloyingly sweet halo halo. Highly recommend this hole in the wall
Great Filipino food. Perfect stop before heading to the airport. Longsilog FTW.
Changed my mind about this restaurant.
